Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!
Simulation games are by far one of the most beloved genres of all, but none feel quite as satisfying to play as town management styled games. They make you feel like you have a level of power you may never actually feel in real life, and they're usually just a good time in general. Add cats and you've got yourself a brilliant game.
Catizens is a colony and survival game where you need to manage a town and make sure all the needs of your citizens have been met. You also have to fight off enemies, train the workers and send out your army to protect the town. Straight off the bat, I love the play on words that names your cat citizens catizens, and this game was surprisingly mature.
The art style of Catizens is simply adorable. This pairs weirdly well with the contrasting seriousness of having to make them go and fight to protect your town. I also really love the subtle soundtrack which adds a nice level of ambience to the experience of the game. The amount of own customisation options also makes this game a must have for all those people craving a new experience like this.
Although it may not be an insanely difficult game, I highly recommend it to lovers of the survival and management genres. This game is the perfect combination of adorable and challenging and I just couldn't put it down. It is such an exciting game, and I will definitely be playing it again in the future.
What is your favourite town simulation games? Comment down below! Also a huge thank you to HeroCraft Games for sending me a review copy of Catizens! I loved it so so much!
Have a nice day!
Love, Galaxy Gaymer x
