The Nintendo Switch has quickly become the epitome of a console made for multiplayer games by this points. Whether they're online, local play or couch co-op, it just hits different. We have had some absolutely amazing Nintendo exclusives on the console, and here are just five that I believe are the best multiplayer games.
This game may have been huge when it came out, but Super Mario 3D World/ Bowser's Fury feels almost like a hidden gem in the Switch's catalogue now. The 3D World series has been amazing in general for a long time, but the addition of Bowser's Fury took the game from a good game, to an amazing one. This game is hours of fun.
Mario Party Superstars is the type of game that I can never get enough of. Not to be confused with Super Mario Party, it is just hours of fast paced fun and a little bit of stress. This game has some of the best minigames, and I think buying it is such a no-brainer.
The Super Smash Bros series is one of the most beloved franchises Nintendo has. This particular entry has so many amazing characters to choose from. I feel like this game only feels right playing it with friends. You won't regret it.
I've talked about it before, but Yoshi's Crafted World is just such a light-hearted and adorable game that doesn't get enough credit. It is best played multiplayer, and I just think everyone should try it out. I have an absolute blast every time I play it.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been amazing since release, but it just keeps getting better. With the booster courses being released, it just feels like a whole new game. While Mario Kart 9 would be amazing, I feel like this is even better than a whole new game. This is a must have for Switch owners.
