Virtual reality games have quickly become one of the most popular types of games in recent years. These can be either the most hyper realistic games on the market, or even better, the whackiest. The game I'm about to tell you about is definitely the latter.
Beers & Boomerangs is maybe the most stereotypical Australian game that has recently been released. The whole premise is that kangaroos are trying to steal your beer, so you have to fight them off with boomerangs. This is all done in VR and is pretty much what people think Australia is like.
Beers & Boomerangs has a lot of references that I appreciate a lot, as it's stuff that is generally Australian and not necessarily everyone would understand. The game starts of super easily but gets incredibly hard as you continue. Despite the game being in a cartoon style, the physics in the game are really impressive, and some are quite realistic even. It's the type of game you will probably be laughing at the whole time you play it.
I really believe Beers & Boomerangs is more for Australians than anything. While anyone could probably enjoy playing it, I feel it would be even more humorous in our eyes with how dramatized it is. I also really think for the price that anyone could enjoy it if given the chance to play it.
