'Silenced: The House', an Instant Classic

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

Visual novels have got to be some of the single most beautiful games on the market. Whether they're a nice little slice of life, or a suspenseful horror visual novel, they always seem to be nothing short of amazing. Today we'll be talking about the latter, as I introduce you to a beautiful, yet terrifying horror visual novel.

Silenced: The House is a visually stunning horror visual novel where you get lured to an abandoned house in a forest by a famous person in your school and you have to survive the night in the house. There are spirits and all kinds of creepy things in the house, so this task is not easy. There are also multiple endings depending on which route you pick in particular sections, which is always a treat.

A huge standout in Silenced: The House is by far the absolutely breathtaking art style that is used. Since this game was released with Halloween days away, its autumnal colour palette used just makes it feel weirdly cozy, yet still creepy. The only part of this game that is coloured differently is the blood, giving it an even more eerily terrifying affect. From the second I started this game; I knew I was going to love it. This game is truly an instant classic.

Horror fans and visual novel lovers alike would probably love Silenced: The House. It's not an insanely long game, but it makes up for that in the multiple endings, and again, the undeniable beauty of its art style. I think this is one that should be on everyone's radars as it's so unique and had me in awe throughout my entire playthrough.

What is your horror game of choice at the moment? Comment down below! And of course, a huge thank you to Sometimes You for sending me a copy of yet another amazing game to review! It's always appreciated!

Have a nice day!

Love, Galaxy Gaymer x
