Puzzle games are widely known as one of the most popular types of games. While the genre itself has many different, unique games, it can be hard to really stand out among the rest. The games need to have some sort of unique appeal in order to grab people's attention, and today's game has done that perfectly.
Sokocat - Combo is an adorable combination of the games Sokocat Islands and Sokocat Dungeon that are both puzzle games with a lot of collectibles across 50 levels per game. To get through each level, the player needs to control a cat to move a box from the start of the level to the end of the level which is shown with a little marker. As your progress through the game, you are given more obstacles, such as pressure plates.
Sokocat - Combo is an adorable entry into the puzzle genre. I found myself instantly loving the cat we get to play, and I just felt the urge to play both games in their entirety to ensure the cat is safe. The graphics are simplistic yet charming, and the gameplay is pretty straightforward, but like many games, it did showcase a decent level of challenge as you progress through the levels.
I believe people of all demographics would love Sokocat - Combo. It's a pile of lighthearted fun that is just waiting to be enjoyed. This game is so simplistic, yet I couldn't have put it down without finishing it even if I tried. These games, however, could probably be enjoyed one bit at a time by anyone.
