'The Almost Gone', The Taboo Adventure We Need

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

One of the most diverse games genres has got to be puzzle games. Not only can they become pretty much anything, but they can be super thought provoking and really make you exercise your brain. They tend to also be really story driven more often than not.

The Almost Gone is an incredible puzzle point and click game about a girl who is basically stuck in Limbo. The girl visits various places from her life to find out more about herself and her loved one. The topics that are explored are actually quite taboo, such as alcoholism. There are 5 chapters, all of which contain multiple diarama views of various aspects in her life.

I find the game itself isn't really all that difficult, but the story is extremely deep. The general vibe of this game is a little bit dark, but also visually stunning. Every single place you explore really comes to life as you explore it, which is assisted even further with the way The Almost Gone has no actual background music, but it each area does make sounds that suit the story and scenario.

I highly recommend this game for those who love a puzzle adventure. There's something about the aesthetic of this particular game that is just so visually stimulating. This game almost gives me a simplistic version of Sibera vibe. This game is a steal for its cheap $15 price and I would happily get it on all platforms!

What is your favorite indie puzzle game? Comment below! Also a huge shout out to Playdigious for gifting me a review copy of this game! I really enjoyed it, and I will be playing it again in the future for sure!

Have a nice day!

Love, Galaxy Gaymer
