'Pokemon: Sword and Shield', The Best Generation So Far

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

Every single year there are so many new games. Same franchises have rare releases that can take up to a decade of waiting, others can have a new game, or even multiple in one year. Pokemon has always been one of those franchises that gives us something new, or multiple new things every single year. This has always been something I look forward to every year, and this year, we have Pokemon: Sword and Shield.

This generation of Pokemon was filled with so much mystery for so many of us, even after the games had been released. Leaks aside, we have had minimal information about these games prior to release day, but upon finally playing the game on release day, it truly exceeded expectations.

Whether it is camping, cooking or Dynamaxing, every single new feature is a great asset to Sword and Shield. The wild area is also an excellent addition to the games. Not only can you find some really amazing Pokemon, but you can also improve your team with the levels of some Pokemon, I found myself staying in this area for a really long time.

Although there have been some people complain, I think these games are the best in the series so far. The routes are all stunning, the new Pokemon are pretty much all amazing, and the gyms are phenomenal, with each leader looking better than ever. I also truly love the fact that we can finally play a brand new main series Pokemon game on your TV screen without needing to use accessories or it being a remake.

I think this game is a must have for Pokemon fans from the early days, or even recent fans of the series. There is so much to love about these games and you can lose hours at a time playing it, in the best kind of way. Whether full price, or even discounted, the price of this game is such a steal for the amount of play time that you could have with it.

What is your favourite part of the new Pokemon games? Comment down below!

Have a nice day!

Love, Galaxy Gaymer
