'Minecraft Dungeons', The Spin-Off We Needed

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

Spin-offs can be either amazing or really risky for a franchise. There have been many spin-offs that have been as good as, if not better than the original game, but there are also many that are less-than-great. Today's game applies to the former.

I have never been a huge fans of Minecraft, but I have always loved the simplicity of it and the creativity you can use with it. When I first saw footage of Minecraft Dungeons, I knew that it was going to be fantastic, and I was right. The story is about the bad guy stealing powers from the village, and the protagonist taking it back after fighting through multiple dungeons of enemies.

Minecraft Dungeons is pretty different from Minecraft, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's kind of life any 3rd person dungeon crawler where you are controlling the character from above. Each level is unique and really nice in a simplistic way, which is complimented a lot by the incredible soundtrack. It is also fantastic that you get to pick from multiple different characters to use. I found myself spending most of my time looking for decent loot, selling what I didn't want, and making myself stronger.

I think this game is perfect for people of all ages. Not only is it a spin-off of a beloved series, but it has a really good spin on it. This would be the perfect game to play with friends and just enjoy together. I will definitely be playing this game for a long time to come.

What is your favourite spin-off game? Comment down below. Also, a huge shoutout to Xbox Game Studios for giving me the code for this. I really appreciate it and it's an actual dream working with you!

Have a nice day!

Streamers I Adore: Part 2

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

Streaming has very quickly become a huge part of my life, and a lot of streamers have quickly become some of my favourite people in the whole world. I have done part one of this list, but here is part two of the streamers that I adore, and why! Please go follow and support some of these amazing people! They're awesome and deserve the whole world. Also, please ignore the formatting of this post, the Blogger app decided not to work with me tonight. Also, this list is in no particular order.

Ginger56 ( http://www.twitch.tv/ginger56/ )
Althoth she may still be pretty new to the streaming game, Ginger has got to be one of my favourite streamers already. The happiness and positivity she puts into her streams are like no other, and it just makes me so genuinely happy when she greets any of her friends to the chat. She is definitely going to be an affiliate before we know it, and it's really well deserved.

 annieisnotokayy (http://www.twitch.tv/annieisnotokayy/)
Annie is just one of those people that you can't help but love. Her personality is everything, and she just loves the community she has created so much. Whether its Animal Crossing or any other game, I could literally watch Annie's streams all day and just smile and laugh the entire time. I could not recommend her stream enough, we stan.

MedStudent27 ( http://www.twitch.tv/medstudent27/ )
Med has got to be one of the most relaxing streamers in the world to watch. He is always just so chilled out and mellow. And not only is he one of the nicest streamers, but I'm quickly learning it is super rare to meet someone who is this genuinely nice all the time. I can't recommend his streams enough. He's also been working insanely hard combatting this damn COVID 19, and for that I can't help but say, thank you, Med.

Flyrish ( http://www.twitch.tv/flyrish/ )
Flyrish has got to be one of the coolest people in the world. He's not only an amazing streamer, but he's also an extremely talented musician, and a great friend of course. Every time I tune into a Flyrish stream, I am welcome with open arms, and I'm always going to come away laughing!

LilyLilac ( http://www.twitch.tv/lilylilac/ )
Lilylilac was one of the very first Twitch streams I have ever watched, and she was also the very first Animal Crossing streamer I ever watched. Her streams just have this warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Every time I watch her streams I just feel so relaxed and I can switch off my brain, even if only for a little while.

PaddyQuinn915 ( http://www.twitch.tv/paddyquinn915/ )
Where do I even start with Paddy? Literally one of the single most generous, awesome, and friendly people you will ever meet. He is always supporting streamers, including myself, which speaks volumes about who he is as a person. In my honest opinion, Paddy is one of those streamers that will be on top one day!

Kaylico ( http://www.twitch.tv/kaylico/ )
Kaylico is actual sunshine. No, seriously, actual sunshine. She had the bubbly personality that is so infectious in the best way, making literally any game she streams exciting to watch. She has this amazing community that adores her, and I just always feel so positive coming away from her streams. I must say though, her Sims streams are my favourites, no matter what platform she is on.

Mexkid ( http://www.twitch.tv/mexkid/ )
I have not really watched Mex for that long, but it goes without saying that his streams are one of those streams that makes you pretty much instantly happy. You can really feel that he puts his soul into his streams, and I just really appreciate watching such a genuinely awesome person. I highly recommend him!

TheSupremeRK9s ( https://www.youtube.com/user/TheSupremeRk9s )
SupremeRK9s is literally one of my favourite content creators in the world. His Pokemon videos are one amazing thing, but his dedicated shiny hunt streams are a whole new level of epic. He has this larger than life personality that is just everything you would want in a streamer. We just can't help but stan.

JimmyWhetzel ( http://www.twitch.tv/jimmywhetzel/ )
Jimmy may be one of the people that I aspire to be like the most. His streams are so full of sass and he is just such a genuinely funny person. Every time I tune into his streams I end up laughing uncontrollably. If you want an amazing streamer who streams Animal Crossing with a bit of Pokemon, he's your guy!

RespectTech ( https://mixer.com/RespectTech )
Words can't even describe how much I love watching this guy's streams. He is literally the most chilled out guy in the world, and he deserves any and all support possible. He is always so welcoming when I come into streams, and I just hope I can be this awesome someday. Easily one of my favs on Mixer!

DaddyWolf41 ( http://www.twitch.tv/daddywolf41/ )
DaddyWolf is one of the many streamers I am lucky enough to call my friend. He is one of the nicest guys you will ever talk to, and I feel like he is super underrated. Every time someone enters his chat, you can really tell that he's mega grateful that they are there. I feel like he's definitely another streamer to look out for.

Even with all these amazing streamers, there's just a few more to list, so there will be a part 3 of this very soon. Stay tuned, and stay safe!

Have a nice day!

'Elteria Adventures' is Refreshing

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

MMOs are an interesting type of game. They can either be really amazing, or they can miss the mark. A great MMO is defined by whether or not it draws in your attention or has a unique concept.

Elteria Adventures is a beautifully made MMO where you fortify and protect the world of Elteria. The process of fortifying takes a decent amount of creativity and strategy. This game is only in the Early Access stages at the moment, but I truly believe it is one worth watching!

The style and graphics of this game are really stunning which really complements some of the amazingly unique mechanics, such as using enemies to break open walls, all while having a really stunning scenery to admire. All the characters are also unique, but that is based on what class you end up with. All of these things are really well complemented by the open world, which can be really refreshing in an MMO. I found myself really loving the beautiful sceneries of Elteria, and I genuinely wanted to explore every single part of it.

I think this game is amazing in its current stages, but I can see it getting even more amazing all the way up to when it is "officially" released. I think anybody can enjoy this game and all it has to offer. It is definitely a game worth watching the more and more it is improved and developed. I will be keeping my eyes on Elteria Adventures for sure.

What is your favourite MMO? Comment down below! And a huge thank you to the lovely folks at Heatherglad Publishing KFT for giving me a copy of this to review. I had a blast!

Have a nice day!

Streamers I Adore: Part 1

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

As many of you may know, I have been streaming for the last 6 months or so, and while I have learnt a lot from my own experiences, there are so many streamers that I have both learnt from and just genuinely enjoyed watching. Mixer, Twitch or YouTube, it doesn't matter, because there are some amazing streamers no matter where you watch. This will be the first of 3 posts where I will be talking about some of the amazing streamers I have quickly become a fan of!

RedNTheWolf ( https://mixer.com/RedNtheWolf )
This first stream I am talking about is an amazing streamer couple known as Baked and Nexillus, or RedNTheWolf as a username. Every time I enter their chat, both Next and Baked are insanely nice and welcoming to me with open arms. They were not only one of the first streams I ever watched on Mixer, but also one of the first streams I ever watched. Their dynamic is so entertaining and they are always so welcoming to new people that want to be part of their community!

EklipzGG ( https://twitch.tv/eklipzgg/ )
Eklipz is another one of the very first streamers I ever watched. He was originally on Mixer, but then he made the transition to twitch, and I have to say, he is one of the single nicest people in the world. He has not only become one of my favourite streamers all together, but I also consider him a really close friend of mine. He is the best and will welcome anybody with open arms!

Gakarium ( https://twitch.tv/gakarium/ )
Gakarium, or as many know them, Gaku, is literally one of this nicest streamers around. Not only is Gakarium one of the streamers that inspired me to play Project Diva for the very first time, but I was also inspired to try streaming it someday in the future. If you want an amazing, and welcoming streamer, Gaku is one of the nicest you could ever find!

EugeneTM_Gaming ( https://twitch.tv/eugenetm_gaming/ )
This next streamer, I literally found within my first few days of watching people on Twitch. When I found Euegene, he pretty much instantly striked me as someone who just show so much love for everyone in his community. The second I hit that follow button while he was playing Banjo Kazooie, I received the warmest welcome in history, and I've enjoyed many of his streams ever since! I highly recommend you watch this incredible lad!

WorldZY ( https://twitch.tv/worldzy/ )
Next is one of the coolest people you could ever watch! WorldZY brings so much energy and life to each and every one of his streams. From Marbles to the WorldZY Wrestling Association, he has this intense energy that is just so exciting to watch. He puts so much time and effort into his streams and he is really close to his community. I am so grateful to have found his stream through Eugene's, and I really do believe his stream is made for anyone and everyone!

Jinxette ( https://twitch.tv/jinxettte )
Jinxette has got to be, by far, one of the nicest people you could watch on Twitch. Her energy and positivity is infectious and amazing in the best way, and I just appreciate the work welcome I receive every single time I am on her stream's chat. Whether it's fun games, scary games, or even a singing stream, Jinx is literally an angel with such a huge heart. Her community is also insanely loving and that just goes to show how much of a good influence she is!

StormWrath ( https://twitch.tv/StormWrath )
Storm is another person with a huge heart. He is so genuinely friendly and loving, all while being fun and a little crazy (in the best way of course). He also puts probably the most energy and effort into his streams that I have ever seen, and it really shows every time. Storm is literally the cool person I could only wish to be like. I could not recommend his streams enough.

IAmDJK ( https://twitch.tv/iamdjk )
IAmDJK has got to be one of my favourite Pokemon content creators of all time. Not only does he have to most insane, yet genuine reactions, but he has this huge, loveable personality that just makes his streams so fun and exciting to watch. Yes, the hair and accent are a huge upside to his streams, but his personality and friendliness are definitely the very best part of every stream.

2MetePete ( https://twitch.tv/2metepete )
He may be last on part one of this list, but it has to be said. 2MetePete is literally one of the nicest people you could ever watch. He is nothing but lovely to his viewers, he makes all his streams fun and exciting, and he just never fails to make me smile during his streams. I can't say enough positive things about him, and I would love to see his return to streaming when he is ready. 2MetePete and his adorable pets will never not be one of my first choices to watch at night time!

Ninja ( https://www.mixer.com/ninja )
This may sound extremely cliche to some, but Ninja is actually the person who single-handedly made me want to become a streamer. I saw the love and passion he had whenever he streamed, and I just repeatedly thought "I want to do that". He has this energy in his streams that just makes me so happy. I am such a huge fan.

Who are some of your favourite streamers! Comment them down below! I know this is already so many amazing people listed in one post, but I actually have two more parts left to publish very, very soon! So stay tuned!

Have a nice day

'Save Your Nuts' Is Hilarious

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

In the current state of the world, multiplayer games and party games are some of the most important games. They don't only give us the chance to game, but it allows us to play with the ones with love, all whole distancing. But what's even better than a normal multiplayer game? A competitive multiplayer game.

Save Your Nuts is a new party game where the goal is simple, get the nuts into the goal and score more than the other team. This game is played with adorable animals, each cuter than the last. There are also multiple power ups that can be used, all of which make you have the upper hand.

Although the single player gameplay of Save Your Nuts is amazing, I think the multiplayer aspect to it right now is just incredible. I find the competitive spirit is exactly what games nights with friends need. The general vibe of this game is insanely relaxing, but does have that little bit of adrenaline you need.

I highly recommend this game for people that are looking for that sense of connection in this difficult time. Save Your Nuts is a really fun game, and you would be able to play a single round, or even spend all night playing it and it would never get boring. And for the mere price of $22 AUD with a playable free demo, you'd be making a huge mistake not picking up this game.

What is your favourite party game? Comment below! And a huge shoutout to Triple Scale Games for giving me codes for this game on both Xbox and Switch, I really appreciate it and it was equally amazing on both consoles! Also, if you want to grab a copy of the game for yourself, go grab it using the link down below!

The 'Ori' Series, A True Journey

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

Some of the most amazing games in existence really tug at the heart strings. In fact, I think emotional aspects can truly make or break any game. I for one am really drawn to games if they make me feel something, even deep down.

Ori and The Blind Forest is an adorable, yet touching game where the main character, Ori, gets lost in a storm in a forest. The main focus of the game is to find your way through The Blind Forest in order to find the elements of the forest itself. This is all done through multiple different power ups and very exact movements in a metroidvania/ platformer style.

I found Ori and The Blind Forest very whimsical and magical because every time you come to a new area, it gets even more visually pleasing. The soundtrack is also a huge highlight as it is pretty light, but highly affective. I also adore how there are so many touching, beautiful moments, which makes all the difficulty of beating the levels all the more worth it.

The sequel to Ori and The Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a new entry to the Ori franchise that has just come out. With a familiar feeling, with refreshing aspects, this game is an even bigger open world where you need to scale more challenges than ever, all while visiting some new, amazing areas. Friendship is intended to be a huge part of this game, and it really shows.

One thing I really appreciate about this new entry to the franchise in the new concept of having customisation in it. Not only is there now a hub world, but it is customisable the more you progress in the game. Like the first game, you learn a variety of new moves that can help you get past areas that you can easily come back to at any time. The soundtrack is also somehow even more beautiful than ever.

I think anybody could enjoy the Ori series. Not only is it brilliant, yet challenging, but I find it is really the kind of game that constantly tugs at our heart strings and makes you want to keep going until it is completed. I really look forward to the possibilities that could come next in this franchise, and I believe everyone should at least give this game a fair try. I'll be playing it from now until we see a new entry to the series eventually.

What is a game that has taken you on an emotional journey? Comment down below! Also a huge thank you to Xbox for sending me a review copy of Ori and the Will of the Wisps! I really appreciate the opportunity and I'm really grateful!

Have a nice day!

'Rainbows, Toilets and Unicorns', is Adorably Quirky

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

Making retro styled games is such a trend these days, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There's so many retro styled games that are more than just a clone of another game, but they have refreshing new concepts to it. That brings us to today's game, Rainbows, Toilets and Unicorns.

Rainbows, Toilets and Unicorns is a vertical shooter with a really retro vibe. There are 5 worlds with 5 levels, each of which have boss encounters. There are many thematical aspects such as religion, politics and Disney, all of which are all adorable. The enemies are quite similar in each world, but the bosses are all reasonably challenging and fun to battle.

I find this game really quirky and adorable. It has cute graphics, fun music, and has a lot of replayability, as it is not an insanely long game. The themes make this game more enjoyable the more you progress from world to world, I personally really loved the viral star world.

I recommend this game for anyone that loves a retro feeling game with refreshing new concepts. It is a bargain when you consider how much genuine, light hearted fun you can have whilst playing it. It's simply one of those games that you can play in one sitting and see it as time well spent.

What is your favourite retro styled game? Comment down below! And a huge thank you to Fantastico Studios for giving me a copy of this game on Switch to review! It's really appreciated and I thoroughly enjoyed the game!

Have a nice day!
