Lead a Faction to Victory in 'The Art of War: Card Game'

There's something about a strategy card game of any kind that just draws me in instantly. The creativity of that genre in general is just incredible. And the best part|? It just keeps getting better and having a bigger catalogue of amazing games.

The Art of War: Card Game is an incredible strategy card game where you need to pick one of four factions and lead them to victory. You need to destroy your enemies and reinforce the power of your empire to be victorious. This is also done with a large variety of amazing cards.

The Art of War: Card Game has some of the nicest card art I have seen in a long time. Every single artwork is just to die for, and I am obsessed with them. For a game that's in early access, this game feels like a complete experience that I loved the second I saw it. I truly can't wait to see it grow along the way. I also love that the difficulty is high, but not insanely high.

I strongly believe anyone could find some enjoyment at least in The Art of War: Card Game. It's such a phenomenal example of a strategy card game, and I put 15 hours into it in the past few weeks. It's just so positively addictive.

'Mangavania', An Amazing Surprise

There's something about a simple indie game that I just can't say no to. Games like that are by far some of the most amazing an appealing, and I just feel like you can't go wrong with supporting an indie developers hard work. This game is the perfect example of this.

Mangavvania is an aesthetically amazing indie action-adventure game that follows a young ninja named Yuhiko. Yuhiko needs to find a cure for his brother. In order to progress through the game, Yuhiko must free the lost souls along the way in order to go to the next level. You get to explore, fight and make new friends along the way.

Mangavania is so much more than meets the eye. I thought the game looked amazing from first glance, but the second I started actually playing it, I fell in love instantly. There's just something about this game's aesthetic mixed with the retro gameplay that just makes me so genuinely happy. I truly think this is one of the best metroidvania styled games I've played in a long time.

I recommend Mangavania for the retro gamers that there are so many of. This game does everything right, all while maintaining such a unique style that makes it unique in its own right. I also think it's such a steal at only $7.50 with hours upon hours of great gameplay.

'Dorfromantik', the Epitome of "Just one more game..."

There's just something about a nice, atmospheric indie game that just gives the biggest serotonin boost. I just love the games where you can lose yourself without too much thought, and just have a good time. These games can also be highly addictive in the best way.

Dorfromantik is a stunning, yet simple indie game where the goal is simple, place the hexagonal tiles and put them together in order to create a world. There are a variety of different pieces to connect including trees, houses, train tracks and bodies of water. Your turns are limited in the game, but you can connect a certain number of challenge pieces in order to get more tiles to place.

The second I even saw Dorfromantik, I knew I was about to lose myself in this game. The art style is so minimalist yet so stunning, the gameplay is easy to understand while giving you the ability to make it challenging, and it's just so genuinely atmospheric and lovely to play. I played over 12 hours of this game within days, and I am still playing it so much to this day.

I recommend Dorfromantik for any games that just needs something to relax and play. It's such a relaxing game that you can absolutely lose yourself in. Plus, it very quickly became one of those games where I would say "just one more game" and that last game would actually happen hours later. This game is brilliant.

'Breakers Collection', Timeless with a Modern Upgrade

The arcade style fighting genre is by far one of my favourite genres to play by this point. Not only does it have some of the all-time greatest and most popular games within it, but it also has a plethora of undiscovered and underrated gems within it. Today's amazing collection is definitely the latter.

The Breakers Collection is a recently released collection of both of the original Breakers games with some brand-new content included in them. While both Breakers and Breakers Revenge were iconic in their own right by themselves, this collection is a must have for returning players and curious potential future players of the series. The addition of an online versus mode is just one cherry on top of this already amazing collection.

The art style of the Breakers Collection is timeless. It has always been a huge highlight of the franchise, and I personally have always adored the simplicity of it which is complimented so well by each unique character. The gameplay is also just the perfect level of challenging in my personal opinion. making for a really exciting experience filled with trial and error.

I recommend the Breakers Collection for all of those arcade fighting lovers out there. These games are such underrated hidden gems and I feel like they're made for avid fans of the genre. The addition of online versus also makes it all the more excited in our evolving world, all while having its timeless characteristics intact.

'From Space', The Amazing Alien Invasion your Life is Missing

Top-down games are made in such a unique format that it can be super easy to stand out and be amazing. While a lot of games of this type are solely strategy based, there are plenty of other genres mixed into the format that push the envelope and exceed expectations.

From Space is an amazing top-down action shooter where you have to fight an alien invasion using characters from different categories that are offensive, defensive and support characters. The game is built around co-op, but it can be just as fun by yourself. The battles get harder, but naturally your strength gets stronger as you progress. There is also so much content in this game for hours upon hours of fun.

From Space has some of the most charming yet simplistic character models I have seen in a long time. This adds so well to the general positive vibe that the style of this game gives me; it quickly feels really welcome for an alien invasion. I also really love that it's not insanely grindy and you power ups aren't that hard to get.

From Space is perfect for an online co-op experience with friends. The visuals are really nice to look at, the sessions can be as long or as short as you want them to be, and it's just all in all a lot of fun. I believe this game could be fun for people of all types of demographics.

'Sonority', A Music Game Done Right

There's something so fun about how create different genres of games can be. One genre that seems to get more creative as the years pass by is the music genre. The more we grow as gamers, the more the music game genre grows and becomes more innovative and creative.

Sonority is a super cozy and stunning music puzzle adventure game where the environment is connected to the music you create. You need to use the healing power of music to help your friend back home, all by doing multiple puzzles and overcoming obstacles. Every single button on the switch is used to create a different sound.

Sonority is the perfect example of a music game done right. There's just something about the creativity of using every button that speaks to me personally. It truly showcases how amazing the switch itself really is, and quickly became one of my favourite games in its genre. I would love to see more to this already amazing game in the future on some way, shape or form.

Sonority is perfect for music lovers and cozy gamers alike. There's just something so peaceful from the gameplay to the stunning level design that is just so warm and welcoming. I think this game is a step in the right direction for Nintendo Switch games especially.

Get into the Holiday Spirit with 'Santacraft'

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

There's just something so simple yet exciting about a holiday themed game. Not only can be it fun for all ages more often than not, but it can also get you into the Holiday Spirit. These games are also some of the most lighthearted games on the market.

Santacraft is an adorable Christmas themed gamed where you need to help Santa find his missing reindeer and bulld his village. You need to rebuild the village yourself with different elements of mining and crafting. The crafting can be done with items such as gingerbread trees and chocolate rocks.

Santacraft is not exactly the type of game where its difficulty stands out, but I feel like that's one of the huge appeals of it. The cozy nature of this game makes it feel warm and welcoming to all players, and I could definitely not put it down as easily as expected. While many Christmas games can seem a little bit corny in a dull way, this one is definitely corny in an adorable way.

I recommend Santacraft for those who just need to get into the holiday spirit with a lighthearted game. It has all the usual beloved elements of a crafting game, but with a sweet twist around every corner. It would be a mistake not to buy this game for sure.
