'Zen Chess Collection', Relaxing, Yet Thought-Provoking

Hey everyone! It's your lad, Galaxy Gaymer!

Board games are a staple for many people both as they grow up, and as they are older. There's something so relaxing about playing a game that takes nothing but some thought, and minimal rules to follow. Any game based on, or using a board game can be a huge success because of these feelings associated with it.

Zen Chess Collection is a brand new chess game one the Nintendo. There are 4 modes, each of which is more difficult than the last. You are able to change both the background colour of your board, but also the style the pieces have, even half way through a game.

Zen Chess Collection has a really relaxing aesthetic to it. It starts off by placing you near the end of a chess game where you need to get a check mate with a limited number of moves. The melancholic, yet relaxing music in the background is perfect for a game of chess. This game is super simplistic, yet really thought-provoking.

I have never played chess in my life, but this game allowed me to learn how to play it. I think for the small price of $4, this game is definitely worth it for people who like to use problem solving and strategy as much as possible. It's really refreshing to see such a minimalistic game on the Switch, and I can't wait until I've finished the remaining 200 out of 600 levels I have to do!

What is your favourite board game? Comment down below! And a huge thank you to QUByte Interactive for the code!

Have a nice day!

Love, Galaxy Gaymer
